We are a team of innovators and storytellers, grounded in community and passionate about creating a new way forward for Cherokee and Native American representation in film and media. Authentic, thoughtful and next-level, we strive to reclaim our narratives on a local and global scale.
Jen Loren, a Cherokee Nation citizen, is an Emmy Award-winning journalist and filmmaker. She is a co-creator, executive producer, host and director. As senior director, she sets strategy and oversees the entirety of operations for Cherokee Film Productions, Cherokee Film Studios, Cherokee Film Commission and the Cherokee Film Institute. Selected as an inaugural Obama Leader by the Obama Foundation in July of 2023, Loren is globally recognized for her work, breaking new ground for Native American representation in film and media.
