Zac Butler is an Assistant Film and TV Editor at Cherokee Film Productions who began his journey in 2021 as a Production Intern.

Raised in Tulsa, Zac became interested in filmmaking at a young age garnering inspiration from the home movies his father would make with the family.

Zac earned a bachelor’s degree in film from Oklahoma City University in 2022. It was there that he honed his skills and laid the groundwork for the future. Outside of the editing room, you can find Zac at a movie theater or behind a computer learning new skills and techniques. As he continues to make his mark at Cherokee Film Productions, Zac is a true testament to the power of passion and perseverance in the pursuit of one’s dreams.

Zac currently resides in Tulsa and continues to be surrounded by the support and love of friends and family.
