Sarah Little is the versatile Motion Graphics Artist on Cherokee Film’s Collaborative Content team. A recent transplant to the heartland of Oklahoma from Chicago, IL, Sarah proudly champions Cherokee Film’s mission for narrative sovereignty.
With a diverse background spanning film, theater, advertising, brand marketing and several years of teaching comedy as a faculty member at Second City Training Center Chicago, Sarah infuses every project with leadership, humor and innovation.
Despite their career as a creative, teaching media literacy is one of Sarah’s deep passions. Growing up as a first-generation German American, their bicultural background offered them a unique dual lens through which they could compare both countries’ predominant cultural narratives in media versus their factual history. As a result, Sarah focuses their research and advocacy on portrayals of marginalized people using anti-racist and anti-eugenicist perspectives.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film & TV from Columbia College Chicago, where they studied directing, screenwriting, video editing and motion design. Their free time is spent knitting, exercising and exploring Oklahoma with their loyal pup named Prince.
