Ryker Sixkiller, raised in Wauhillau, Oklahoma, is a Cinematographer at Cherokee Film Productions.

Ryker developed a liking to filmmaking during his time at Sequoyah High School in Mr. Don Franklin’s Media Production class where Ryker was introduced to the basics of operating a camera and how to edit videos.

Through networking, Ryker was able to land a job with Buffalo Nickel Creative, working as a cinematographer, film editor, writer, grip and actor. After 5 years with BNC, Ryker was able to sharpen his skills enough to catch the eyes of OsiyoTV. After a few calls and an intense interview, Ryker was offered a position on the team. Upon Ryker’s arrival to the office, he observed the creative environment, took a deep breath, and said to himself, “this is where I belong.”  And the rest is history.
