Cherokee Film maintains a strict protocol that neither it nor any of its agents or employees shall accept or consider any unsolicited material, ideas, or suggestions of any kind (“Unsolicited Materials”). Accordingly, you may not use this website, or any contact information obtained from it, to submit Unsolicited Materials to Cherokee Film by any means (including, without limitation, mail, fax, or email). Any such Unsolicited Materials received will not be reviewed or considered and, if possible, will be returned without retention of any copies. Unsolicited Materials will not be shared with or discussed by third parties and will be deleted upon receipt.
Please note that Cherokee Film does not provide direct financing or investment in film or television projects, nor does it enter into co-productions, serve as a creative producing partner, or provide creative producing services. And thus, we do not accept scripts or creative materials for this purpose.
If you are a filmmaker seeking support from the Cherokee Film Commission, including but not limited to consultation, cultural advising, location services, or access to the Cherokee Film rebate, or if you wish to inquire about renting soundstage space at Cherokee Film Studios, you must first complete our official Project Intake Form and sign and submit our Submission Release Agreement. These submissions must contain only high-level, non-confidential information about your project (e.g., genre, budget range, production timeline, and other logistical details); no story details, scripts, or creative materials will be accepted at this stage.
Only submissions made through this formal process will be reviewed or considered.
