Cody Hammer, a Westville, Oklahoma native, is a Cinematographer for Cherokee Film Productions. Cody began his photography career at Osage Nation Communications when his unique eye caught the attention of Osage News. Cody continued to share his skills as a photojournalist for three years until he joined Cherokee Film. Cody’s passion for showcasing Natives and our stories through the camera lens evolved and grew when he joined “Osiyo, Voices of the Cherokee People” in 2022. Cody’s work ethic and humor bring the team together and push Cherokee Film Productions to break down barriers and bring Cherokee culture and traditions to audiences worldwide.

Cody Hammer resides in Skiatook with his beautiful wife Mary and their four daughters.
