Brian Hicks is a prolific Film and TV Editor for Cherokee Film Productions. His distinguished career has spanned over 25 years and brought many accolades and awards.

He joined the OsiyoTV team as a Freelance Editor for FireThief Productions in 2021 and was brought on full-time with Cherokee Film Productions in 2022.

Brian is an award-winning editor, with multiple Gold Lions from the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. His accomplished commercial work has earned him numerous Addy Awards. Brian won a Tony Award for music video editing – a rare and coveted honor – as well as multiple Heartland Regional Emmy Awards for his work on OsiyoTV, a testament to the consistent excellence he brings to his craft.

A proud alumnus of the Art Institute, Brian holds a degree in film, laying the educational foundation for his remarkable career. He’s created countless promos for major networks such as Comedy Central, Showtime and The Movie Channel.

One of Brian’s notable achievements includes editing the title sequence for the James Bond film “Quantum of Solace,” a project that added a cinematic flourish to an iconic franchise.
