Welcome to the OklaHomies
Short Film Contest

Congrats to all our winners!

The OklaHomies Short Film Contest winners are now announced! As we all work to get through the COVID-19 pandemic, The OklaHomies was created to give Oklahomans a break from all the stress, with a chance to make a movie from the comfort of home with family and/or roommates. We hope you and your families are all safe and healthy and practicing social distancing as much as possible. While the contest is closed, we hope you’ll enjoy and watch the film submissions, which will both touch your hearts or make you laugh. Venture into the films that cross all genres — comedy, horror, drama and more. Even though the contest is over, you can still enjoy filmmaking. It’s fun and easy! All you need is a smartphone and some creativity. Never made a film before? That’s great! This is about learning new skills and having fun. We’ve gathered helpful resources with tutorials to help you create your movie magic. Read all about it in our App Suggestions blog.

The OklaHomies Short Film Contest launched March 25 with winners announced April 13. See below for the categories, prizes and rules that were involved. We hope you’ll grab your smartphone and have some fun, too!
